By accepting a quotation from us you agree to the terms & conditions of Tis Gud Window Cleaning Services.

 

Payments

  • Payments to be made by bank transfer or direct debit.

  • You are required to pay in full within 7 days of the cleaning date.

  • We do not accept cheques.

  • Cash payment is not preferred but if necessary, cash payments must be paid on the day, either in person or in a pre-agreed safe place.

  • If payment is not received, your windows will not be cleaned again until payment is received.

  • Regrettably, repeat late payment will not be accepted, you will be removed from our client list.

 

Weather

  • Our pure water system works in all weathers.

  • Our service is an all year-round regular service.

  • We can clean your property in all weather conditions including rain and very low temperatures, however if we’re experiencing bad weather, affecting health & safety, we will inform you on the day we will not be able to attend & reschedule.

  • If we have had consecutive bad weather days, please expect a delay in us cleaning your windows, we have not forgotten you, we just need to catch up, but will message you the evening before we’re coming.

 

48 Hour Guarantee

  • After we have cleaned your windows we will leave a "Windows Cleaned Today" card. Tis Gud Window Cleaning Services offers a 48 hour guarantee against any work carried out. If you are not 100% satisfied. We will come back and re-clean for free. To qualify for a free reclean you must contact us within the 48 hour time period

  • Achieving optimum cleaning results may require a few cleans. For example, detergent residues from previous traditional window cleaning methods may initially cause slight spotting. Leaching can also occur from trickle vents, beading and heavily soiled frames, however in most cases, this will cease after a couple of cleans, once the dirt is removed fully from the frame areas.

 

Restrictions / Obligations

  • Should we be unable to access any part of your property due to locked gates we will only clean the accessible areas such as the front & sides. We will be unable to return to clean the restricted area until the next scheduled clean. To avoid this please ensure that we have your correct phone number for our SMS text reminder service which we send out the evening before each visit.

  • Windows must be kept closed until fully dried to avoid drip marks on windows / sills. We Recommend at least an hour.

  • If you are going on holiday just let us know and we will "miss" the clean and book you in for next time.

  • We will endeavour to clean all windows, but if we deem any windows to be inaccessible or unsafe to clean, we will not clean them.

  • Could we ask that all windows and doors are closed on our arrival, any that are open will be missed.

  • Due to insurance liabilities we will be unable to move obstacles such as but not exclusive to: flowerpots, garden furniture etc. If these or any other items restrict access to an area of your property, we will be unable to clean it.

  • We do not bring our water hoses through the main part of your property (through garage is ok) or climb over fences.

  • We do offer a "front windows only" service for properties with no rear access.

  • Anything that you don’t want to get wet, please make sure is moved away from your windows, doors etc. 

  • We politely request if applicable, that any animal waste is to be cleaned up before we arrive, should any of our property including but not limited to hoses, boots be contaminated, you will be invoiced for the item/s to be replaced.

  • By accepting us to clean your property, you agree and give us permission if we desire to take photos of your property to show before and after clean. We can use these on our adverts, Facebook, website and other media to promote our business and services. Photos may also be taken as evidence should we be unable to clean any windows due to obstacles or other reasons.

  • We recommend that you don't clean your windows between our visits. We use pure water and any chemicals / detergents you use can take us a few cleans with our system to remove and can result in smearing and water marks. If you require your windows cleaning between our usual visits, let us know, we can arrange an interim clean.

 

Cleaning Frequencies

  • Tis Gud Window Cleaning Services has 4 cleaning frequency options.

  • Every 2,4 or 8 weeks and we offer a one off clean.

  • We ask window cleaning customers to state clearly if the services requested are intended as a “one off clean”. If not, it is assumed an agreed maintenance contract has been initiated for 2,4 or 8 weekly window cleaning and you will be obliged to have a minimum of 2 cleans before cancellation of the services can be requested. The total price for the 2 cleans will become payable in full if you cancel our services before the 2 cleans have been completed.

  • Although we aim not to, sometimes it is necessary to move your scheduled day slightly, this could be due to but not limited to weather, illness, holidays etc. We will always notify you the evening before we’re coming and /or on the day if there are any issues.

Quotes

  • All quotes will be valid for 8 weeks, after this time price may increase.

  • Online quotes are subject to change on inspection of your property. We will inform you of any price change and reason.

Damages

  • We do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects at your property, such as, but not limited to, ill fitting windows, doors, fascias, guttering, window/conservatory trims, unsecured windows and doors, leaking seals, loose stuck on lead, decorative bars stuck on glass, rotting frames, flaking paint, open/broken trickle vents, etc.

  • We accept no liability for decorative bars coming loose or falling from the exterior of the glass. If these bars are correctly installed our brushes will not damage them in any way. If they do become loose or fall off it's because the adhesive is not bonding correctly with the glass. This is because over time the double sided tape used to stick the bars to your glass loses it's adhesion.

  • Scratched window sills: Over time your upvc window frames will start to oxidise and slowly lose their colour. Your windows sills will be the most effected. When we are cleaning your windows our brush head which is made from soft plastic with nylon bristles may remove some of the oxidation. This may look like scratches but in fact it's just where the grey oxidation has been removed. We will not be held responsible for returning your windows back to "as new" condition.

  • Scratched glass: The brushes we use are specifically designed for window cleaning and are made of a soft plastic head stock with nylon bristles. There is nothing on the brush which can scratch your glass. There are no metal parts on the brush.

  • We no longer bring our water hoses through the main part of customers houses but we can go through garages. If your house has no other means of rear access other than going through the living area of the house, we do offer a front windows only service.

  • If your frames / sills etc have been sprayed or painted, you accept the chance that paintwork could be scratched / chipped or flake off. 

  • Cracked glass - If we see a cracked window it will not be cleaned. If you request it to be cleaned, you will be responsible for any damage occurred during and after clean.

Cancellation

  • If you wish to cancel our services please provide at least 7 days notice before your next scheduled clean.

  • We reserve the right to cancel including but not limited to non-payment received, repeat late payments, health and safety issues, abuse of staff or company.
